We train for CCW concealed weapons permits and self defense courses.

ARIZONA F.A.S.T. is a member in good standing with the Cottonwood Chamber of Commerce in Cottonwood, AZ; a Certified Training Organization listed with the Arizona Department of Public Safety (ccw.azdps.gov) and has Instructors and Range Safety Officers certified by both Arizona DPS and the National Rifle Association (http://www.nrahq.org/education/training/index.asp and click on “Find and NRA course near you).

We conduct all classes including our concealed weapons permit classes in our air conditioned Cottonwood, AZ facility for all lecture and non shooting practical exercises. We drive to a designated Range site, 10-minutes from our facility where we conduct shooting qualifications in a professional range atmosphere. We are dedicated to women's self defense and offer courses to help women defend themselves in threatening situations.

We also offer a variety of retail items that will enhance your ability to defend yourself, offer storage and maintenance solutions for your firearm and give you a variety of ways of carrying your firearm. John Baker
Owner/Lead instructor/Range Safety Officer
John is a veteran of sixteen years of law enforcement that includes the Phoenix Police Department, where he was stationed in the Maryvale/South Phoenix districts, the Maricopa County Parks System where he was the Lake Operations officer at Lake Pleasant and also worked at Ben Avery Shooting Range as a Range Safety Officer, and finally, the Sedona Police Department which is what brought him to the Verde Valley. John is an Arizona Department of Public Safety and National Rifle Association certified Firearms instructor & Chief Range Safety Officer who has taught firearms use and safety since his days as a Boy Scout.

Chiquie Baker
Co-Owner/Public Information Officer/P.R.
Chiquie has a background of over 35-years in Public Relations and Marketing. Chiquie deals with all advertising and customer care issues as well as developing ideas for retail and new class ideas.

Rick Weir
Range Safety Officer/Instructor in training
Rick is a close family friend of the Baker’s and only one in a line of other young people in the Verde Valley that the Bakers hope to bring into the business and train for a career in Firearms Safety.
